Program Description:

Monash

General

The Monash Law School is the largest law school in Australia and ranks 26th in the world in law according to the QS World University Rankings 2018. Long known for the quality of its clinical program, Monash Law School is a diverse and international law school in the center of downtown Melbourne. Its curriculum has been developed to ensure an international focus and relevance.

Exchange students at the law school can take classes in international economic and investment law, human rights law, labor law, administrative and regulatory law, intellectual property and communication law and criminal law.

Academics

Students will receive up to 12 credits towards their law degree. Only the credits and not the grades will transfer per ABA requirements. The acceptance of any credit or grade for any courses taken at the Monash Faculty of Law, including externships and other clinical offerings, is subject to determination by the AUWCL Office of the Registrar. AUWCL students will be enrolled in regularly scheduled classes alongside fellow Monash students.

Housing and Cost of Living 

 
Both on and off campus housing is available, although most on campus housing is for undergraduate students. Monash offers assistance to students looking for off-campus housing.
