Program Description:

The Monash Law School is a dynamic and forward-looking law school dedicated to helping students prepare for a changing world. Founded in 1964, it has grown to become the largest law school in Australia and ranks 26th in the world in law according to the QS World University Rankings 2018. Long known for the quality of its clinical program, Monash Law School has increasingly become an international law school. Its curriculum has been developed to ensure an international focus and relevance.

Students will receive up to 12 credits towards their law degree. Only the credits and not the grades will transfer per ABA requirements. The acceptance of any credit or grade for any courses taken at the Monash Faculty of Law, including externships and other clinical offerings, is subject to determination by the AUWCL Office of the Registrar. AUWCL students will be enrolled in regularly scheduled classes alongside fellow Monash students.
The following is a selection of courses offered during the 2019 academic year. For more detailed course listings, refer to the Monash Student Handbook and search through available courses (called units on the Monash website) in the unit guide.

The Monash Law School is located in the center of Melbourne, which is one of the top cities for students in the world according to the QS Best Student Cities rankings for 2018. Find out more about the perks of living in Melbourne and studying at Monash on the university's Inbound Students page.
