Housing and Cost of Living

Upon request, the Utrecht University Housing Office provides participants with furnished accommodation for the duration of their studies. As it is virtually impossible to find accommodations yourself, we strongly advise students to make use of this service and fill out the necessary housing form. Due to the shortage of rooms in Utrecht, the available accommodations vary in quality and price. Housing facilities are often in the very heart of the old city and rooms are fully furnished, with kitchen, bathroom, and other facilities shared with other students. For more information, visit Utrecht's web page on accommodations for exchange students. Updated cost of living estimates are available on Utrecht University's exchange student website.

Learn more about Utrecht and the Netherlands on the university's exchange and visiting students page.
