everyday situations and cultural etiquette, among other things.
Upon request, the Utrecht University Housing Office provides participants with furnished accommodation for the duration of their studies. As it is virtually impossible to find accommodations yourself, we strongly advise students to make use of this service and fill out the necessary housing form. Due to the shortage of rooms in Utrecht, the available accommodations vary in quality and price. Housing facilities are often in the very heart of the old city and rooms are fully furnished, with kitchen, bathroom, and other facilities shared with other students. Food and other living expenses are about $200 to $295 US dollars a month. Textbooks and study materials are not more than $60. For more information, visit Utrecht's web page on accommodations for exchange students.
