Asia & Oceania

As the world's largest and most populous continent, Asia plays an important and dynamic role in today's world. With a vast number of varying cultures, businesses, governments, and resources spread throughout the region, it is important to understand how the Asian continent affects us and how we as lawyers can play an integral role. AUWCL has programs in Hong Kong, China, India,  and South Korea (Yonsei, Sungkyunkwan) designed to help students develop the global skills necessary to reach their career and life goals in the international arena.

Home to some of the oldest cultures on Earth, Oceania is an extensive area containing a diverse mix of economies and cultures. Due to the region's unique geographic, political, and cultural position in the world, students can take courses in a wide range of fields such as international trade law, maritime law, indigenous rights, environmental law, and human rights law. Through these courses and opportunities, students will gain applicable skills for wherever their career as an international lawyer takes them.
